Description

Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan dated 25/02/2013, the second paragraph of which is related to the establishment and operation of higher education centers of the Islamic Republic of Iran It is in Afghanistan, it has started its activities in Afghanistan and in this regard, it has signed two bilateral agreements on 07/13/1388 and 12/10/1389 with the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan regarding the official start of its activities. It has led to the issuance of its registration license in the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan under number 39 dated 02/14/2013 . Since this date, the university has officially started its activities by establishing a branch in Afghanistan and recruiting students .

The achievements of Payamnoor University include: more than 850,000 students in this university in 2013, coverage of about 30% of all students in the country, development of more than 500 centers and academic units in all parts of the country, ranking second in Asia and sixth in the world. Among the open and remote universities, and obtaining the top cultural rank of Iranian universities in 2019 and obtaining the top rank of service to Shahid and self-sacrificing students in 2019.
