The airline was formed by Safi Group of companies with its headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan and a diversified conglomerate based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Safi Airways offers the highest international safety and service standards and operates in compliance with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) requirements. Safi Airways was the first Afghan carrier certified as complying with the strict ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) regulations. Safi Airways also complies with IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).
